NEW MUSIC| Michelle Obama x Fitness Hip-Hop Album

Just when you thought our First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama couldn't get any cooler, she is releasing a Hip-Hop fitness album titled Songs For A Healthier America as part of her Let's Move campaign to fight childhood obesity. The First Lady introduced this campaign back in 2010 and collaborated with Beyonce releasing a dance initiative remix to Beyonce's "Get Me Bodied". As cool as it would be to here Mrs. Obama lay down a verse she instead has enlisted the help of hip-hop veterans and newcomers to lend their voices to the project. Back in June, the albums first single 'Everybody' was released with an accompanying music video. The song is by Doug E. Fresh and Jordin Sparks, and feature a cameo by The First Lady and Dr. OZ. You can read more about it here . It's Official Janelle Monae's album The Electric Lady will be released September 10th.  Janelle revealed the album's artwork and tracklist  for her sophomoric album which will be exclusively sold at Target. The album features collaborations with Erykah Badu, Solange, Miguel and Prince. The first track from the recrd Q.U.E.E.N and upbeat, women empowerment record with Erykah Badu is doin' great with the radio play especially after a stellar performance at this year's BET Awards. The visuals for YG's new song "Just Got Word"  featuring Young Jeezy were released on CTE World Official Youtube page. Jeezy signed the Compton based rapper to CTE this past June and the label has a compilation album CTE: Boss Ya Life Up Gang due out August 13th. Check out the video for Just Got Word!!

Drake is back droppin a new cut from his upcoming album. This year alone Drake has garnered up enough publicity for his new project Nothin Was The Same by spittin' fire verses on featured tracks and teasing us with songs like "Started From The Bottom", 5AM in Toronto", "No New Friends" & ofcourse "Girl's Love Beyonce". Well, he is at it again releasing "Hold On, We're Going Home". The track produced in-house producer Nineteen85 and features Toronto Native, Majid Jordan. I'm really feeling this track.

While we are still awaiting Nipsey Hussle's The Marathon 3: Victory Lap , He gave us a little something to hold to until then. He released a track named "Change Nothing" produced by 1500 Or Nothin. Shout out to Karen Civil for dropping this track! Nipsey is really out here, I;m definitely going to be keepin close watch on him.
